Professional Background
Emily Hays earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. During her time at UCLA, she was actively involved in the American Medical Student Association, cancer and microbiology research, volunteer work, and the UCLA Wrestling Club. She also traveled to Guatemala to help provide healthcare services to underserved communities.
After graduating, Emily worked for two years as a medical scribe in the Emergency Department before earning her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences.
